Etto Instagram and Identity Refresh

Training, strategy and logo design for a motorcycle fabrication specialist

The Challenge

Ian from Etto wanted to grow his Instagram following to boost enrolment in his welding and fabrication courses. He lacked a clear strategy and visual identity that reflected the quality of his work.

My Role

I carried out a full audit of Etto’s Instagram account and delivered a one-to-one training session focused on building skills and strategy. I also redesigned the Etto logo to bring it in line with the step up in quality of content I was proposing.

The Solution

The in-person session covered the importance of branding, what to post, how to film, how to use editing tools and how to frame storytelling around the making process. At the same time, I designed a sharp, angular logo inspired by the distinctive cuts Ian makes using tin snips. This brought authenticity and craft into the visual identity to align it closer to his services.

The Outcome

Etto's Instagram following grew by over 800% in a year, with a single Instagram Reel (filmed in the style I had taught) reaching more than 4 million views. The refreshed identity and improved content connected him with a far wider audience of potential students and resulted in an increase in course sales.
