Baileys needed artwork for a brand new Squirty Cream product and updates across Christmas creams to improve perceived quality and enhance taste appeal.
I managed the entire project including creating the packaging artwork from scratch, sourcing and retouching the serving suggestion image and managing complex print setups for the cream pots.
I worked from the Baileys brand guidelines to create artwork that stood out on shelf across all SKUs. The Christmas Cream pots required eight plate separations across seven colours with both positive and negative black. These were developed to meet print techniques for the curved surface.
The designs were recognised by The Grocer's New Product & Packaging Awards 2024 in the Seasonal category with the following awards:
Baileys Espresso Extra Thick Cream achieved Gold (Champion) with judges comments - "Premium, well-executed packaging to justify a higher price tag" and Baileys Squirty Cream achieved Silver.
